FIRE – a blow to the club and community of Rhos-on-Sea
During the early hours of Friday 20th May the “Tea Pavilion” – the oldest building on the site – was targeted by mindless vandals in an arson attack. The damage is extensive and the property will very likely have to be demolished. Luckily no one was injured and the perpetrators were caught.
The main pavilion is undamaged and we shall be able to carry on more or less as normal. Unfortunately, the groups using the “Tea Pavilion” will be without a venue for the moment and we are trying our best to accommodate them in the main building as and when possible. Also, as the fire was so intense their equipment was also lost. We ask you all to bear with us whilst we regroup and thank all those who have offered their support, it has been heartening to hear from you all.
