Obituary – Irene Dickson

We are saddened to announce the passing of Irene Dickson on 24th June at the age of 90. Irene and her husband Geoff were joint stewards of the club from 1965 till 1991 and were very much liked by all the members. They were both honoured in 1990 by being made Honorary Life members in recognition of their hard work and service to the club. Funeral service is on July 6th, and of course limited to family. However, it is the family’s wish that the cortege passes the club on the way to the crematorium, so that club members may show their respects. The funeral service at the crematorium is at 1145 and so the cortege should be passing the club at around 1120 on Monday 6th July.
